Despite a three-day ceasefire agreement reached between Russia and Ukraine, Ukrainian officials said on Sunday that they still suffered Russian drone attacks and nearly 150 exchanges of fire in the past 24 hours.

After two ceasefire agreements between Russia and Ukraine failed earlier this week, US President Trump announced on social media on Friday (May 8) that Russia and Ukraine had agreed to a three-day ceasefire through his mediation, with each side exchanging 1,000 prisoners of war. Moscow and Kyiv subsequently confirmed the ceasefire agreement.

Reuters reported that Zaporizhzhia Oblast Governor Fedorov said on Sunday (10th) that a Russian attack on the Zaporizhzhia region in southeastern Ukraine resulted in one death and three injuries.

Kharkiv Oblast Governor Sinegupov said that drone attacks on the Kharkiv Oblast capital and nearby settlements injured eight people, including two children.

Helson State Governor Procudin said on the same day that seven people, including a child, had been injured in Russian drone attacks and shelling since early Saturday morning.

In addition, the Ukrainian Air Force said that Russia launched 27 long-range drones at Ukraine on Saturday night, but the air defense system shot them all down.

The Ukrainian army reported in its morning report that a total of 147 firefights had occurred on the front lines.
